Jim Vail's Work Called Sublime, Holy, Paradaisical, Breathtaking

(DESTIN)  Pastor Jim Vail is newly dubbed the "Unveiler of Paradise," a nod to the artistic genious of the late Thomas Kincaide, Painter of Light, by Athena Marler Creamer of Panama City.
His first masterpiece is a printed 2014 Calendar, released a bit belatedly, perhaps, due to a  trip with his wife to photograph the Smoky Mountains at Christmastime. "I was wondering if he was going to send me something at the last minute, perfect for December, "said Athena, owner of  Heiress Arts Publishers.
The 2014 calendar has iconic images of Destin's beauty captured in a way that is unusually sublime, as if God had a hand on the shutter release button freeze framing the ideal moment of a perfect day.  Scenes like these that seem to reveal a bit of heaven, are familiar to the residents and long timers who sense something holy and paradaisical about Destin; who may celebrate and hold onto those memories as long as they can.  The photograph for September is a breathtaking beach scene of unspoiled Noriega Point.
To Jim Vail, photography is a self taught hobby, but encouraged otherwise by friends, little by little, Jim Vail began to sign his work and submit it to publications like the National Geographic online.  Now his photo of the fishing boat floating on the crystal green water under the Marler bridge has been immortalized.  His work has appeared there as well as on Chinese television and on the walls if Sacred Heart Cancer Clinic in Sandestin.
Jim Vail and his wife, Hope, live in Baker, Florida, where he is the Pastor of the First Baptist Church.  This calendar is dedicated to a co-worker who is a cancer patient.
